Dear Food Recovery Challenge Participants and Endorsers,
Food Recovery Challenge awards are offered in two categories – data driven and narrative. Participants do not need to apply for the data driven awards, as these awards are given based on the data submitted via the SMM Data Management System. FRC Narrative Awards recognize the achievements of outstanding organizations for both participants and endorsers in the challenge.
New this year, award forms are conveniently located in the SMM Data Management System. Log in to the SMM Data Management System to begin filling out and submitting the appropriate participant OR endorser award form. Please note that we are extending the application deadline through May 15, 2015. Once you have filled out the award form, please click the “Submit to Program” button. Details about this year’s award categories can be found at http://www.epa.gov/foodrecoverychallenge/2015_awrds.htm.
To be eligible for awards, you must have submitted 2014 annual data and 2015 annual goals in the system. If you have yet to submit your annual data and goals, please make sure to do so as soon as possible.
