Brook Lenker, Executive Director, FracTracker Alliance David “Brook” Lenker is the Executive Director of the FracTracker Alliance and based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. He oversees the strategic programmatic, operational, and fundraising activities for the non-profit organization, which supports groups across the United States addressing pressing extraction-related concerns, with a lens toward health effects and exposure risks on communities from oil and gas development. He holds an M.A. in Geography and Environmental Planning from Towson University. Previously, Brook served as Manager of Education and Outreach for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and as Director of Watershed Stewardship for the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. |

Tom Murphy, Co-Director, Marcellus Center for Outreach and Research, Penn State University Tom Murphy is Director of Penn State’s Marcellus Center of Outreach and Research (MCOR). His work has centered on educational consultation in natural resource development, with an emphasis specifically in natural gas exploration and related topics for the last twelve years. He lectures globally on natural gas development from shale, the economics driving the process, and its broad impacts including landowner and surface issues, environmental aspects, evolving drilling technologies, critical infrastructure, workforce assessment and training, local business expansion, resource utilization, financial considerations, and LNG export trends. He is alum of Penn State University. |

Ned Ketyer, Medical Consultant, Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project Dr. Ned Ketyer is a pediatrician who has worked at Pediatric Alliance since 1990 and is the editor of the popular pediatric blog, The PediaBlog. He is consultant with the Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project, a nonprofit public health organization that assists and supports residents of Southwestern Pennsylvania and beyond who believe their health has been, or could be, impacted by unconventional oil and gas development (UOGD, or fracking). Ned earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Ketyer is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Environmental Health. He is also a board member for Physicians for Social Responsibility -- Philadelphia. |
