Free Scholarships for Students and Staff from PERC Member Schools

Thanks to PERC's partnership with the Sustainable Energy Fund, 25 scholarships (valued at $1000 each) are reserved for faculty, staff, and students from PERC member schools to attend Energypath 2017, July 24th-27th. 

Event Overview
Energypath 2017, powered by the Sustainable Energy Fund, is the region’s largest sustainable energy event. The purpose of Energypath is to create a passion for and understanding of sustainable energy. This year's event will focus on carbon and its impact in terms on what we eat, what we buy, and the energy we consume affects greenhouse gas emissions and our sustainable energy future. Each year, EnergyPath is attended by more than 400 students, professional educators, dislocated workers and industry professionals.

Energypath consists of a three day intensive energy camp followed by a one day conference. The energy camp" (July 24-26) offers learning in a choice of the focus areas: 

• Intro to Sustainable Energy
  
• Micro Hydro
  
• How to Live and Work with Zero Carbon
  

The last day (July 27) of EnergyPath is the conference with a day filled with sessions related to carbon reduction. View the draft agenda for the conference day here.

Scholarships
PERC has 25 scholarships for staff and students from PERC member schools to attend Energypath 2017. Each scholarship includes... 

• tuition, 
  
• meals, and 
  
• campus housing for the entire four-day experience.
  

That's a value of $1000 per person--all for a $25 registration fee per person.
