Thank you to all of you who have joined us for one or more of our previous webinars in our Public Health and Sustainability: Partners by Nature lunchtime colloquium series.
Please join us for the next lunchtime colloquium in PERC's webinar series on Tuesday, March 16, at noon on "Housing, Environmental Justice, and Public Health."
Register HERE.
All registrants will receive a copy of the webinar recording and PowerPoint slides.
Our panel will discuss how housing and the quality of housing stock affects public health in Pennsylvania as well as the legacies of institutional racism that have too often limited the access of communities of color to financing for housing and home repair. The colloquium asks how we--as public health and sustainability professionals, scholars, and students--can support community health and expand partnerships with housing activists and organizations working to improve access to safe, clean, green, and affordable housing for all.
Scheduled presenters include:
- Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta from Philadelphia's 181st legislative district;
- Dr. Brian Fuss, Policy and Programs Director, Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania; and
- Steve Luxton, Executive Director, Energy Coordinating Agency of Philadelphia
You can join the webinar at: https://psu.zoom.us/j/94676920860.
