Those PERC members who missed this webinar in July are invited to join “Building Keystone Solar,” a webinar to learn about how your institution can incorporate course materials from a real world Pennsylvania solar project into your course offerings.

Community Energy and PERC recently held this webinar in July. The webinar received positive feedback, so we’ve decided to host it again. Jeffrey Brownson, Assistant Professor of Energy and Mineral Engineering at Penn State University attended the last webinar and said, "In their webinar, Community Energy, Inc provided me and my students with an interesting and pragmatic perspective on solar energy education and outreach development that I had not found from industry yet. The team had a great method of connecting the flow of project development from local policy and project finance strategies, to practical challenges of siting and technology deployment. Their approach was a refreshing outreach to our academic community."

Community Energy will also discuss ways to improve pathways to careers in the clean energy sector for your students. Keystone Solar will be the largest solar project in Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to bring a tangible, sustainability oriented course materials into the classroom. There is no cost to attend.
